Unweit vom Yachthafen und Rhein, liegt in idyllischem Innenhof die Ferienwohnung Heringsee. In wenigen Gehminuten ist die historischen Altstadt mit Dom, historischem Museum, Altpörtel und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Das Sealife-Aquarium und die Rheinpromenade sind quasi um die Ecke. Die Wohnung liegt im Parterre eines Fachwerkhauses mit großer Terrasse und eingezäumten Vorgarten. Das macht sie vor allem für Familien mit kleinen Kindern sehr geeignet. Aber auch bei älteren Menschen ist sie von Vorteil, weil man keine Treppen steigen muss. In allen Räumen der Fewo ist Rauchverbot - auch den Nachmietern zuliebe. Auf der Terrasse kann geraucht werden. Dort stehen Aschenbecher bereit. Haustiere sind nicht erlaubt. Parken vor dem Grundstück in Parkbuchten in der Straße "Am Heringsee" (zum Be- und Entladen kann man direkt vor die Ferienwohnung fahren).

Die beiden Appartements von je ca. 30 m² Größe sind in ruhiger Innenhoflage im Herzen von Speyer gelegen (gegenüber Heiliggeistkirche). Die Fußgängerzone ist ca. 90 m entfernt, der Dom ca. 200 m. Alle Sehenwürdigkeiten der Stadt sowie die Geschäfte und Lokale im Innenstadtbereich können bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Das im Erdgeschoß gelegene Appartement wurde im August 2007 grundsaniert. Attractions such as the cathedral, art museum, Jewish bath, Sea Life, Bade Max, the beach bar on Rhein-Beach are also easily accessible on foot. In front of the house you have a bike path which you can combine with great destinations in the area, such as the Wine Route, the Wine Gate, Schwetzingen's palace gardens, the castle of Heidelberg, Worms and Mannheim. A bus stop with connection to the railway station is located around 100m away. For travel by car, they also have an excellent connection to the motorway and trunk road. Interesting destinations for this are the Hockenheimring 10min, the SAP Arena in Mannheim 20min, Saline Bad Durkheim 30min.

Our two holiday flats are located directly above the oldest wine tavern of Speyer, straight in the pedestrian area in the center of Speyer. In the immediate vicinity there are many cafes located, which are inviting you to a cozy breakfast as well as the pedestrian area invites you to amble and shop. At the supermarket across the street you will find everything you need to accomodate yourself. The numerous places of historic interest of the more than two thousand years old Speyer are easily approachable by little walks. Another opportunity for you would be to join the City Shuttle which was copied some times from other cities. It runs in ten-minutes-cycles from the main and bus station through the pedestrian area via Dom, Historisches Museum der Pfalz, Technik Museum to the Bademaxx an in- and outdoor swimming bath with Sauna. And now the best: the ticket costs only one Euro and ist is valid for a full day – no matter how often and in in which direction you will hitch and ride. And another candy: You will find the shuttle-stop just around the corner.

In Speyer, only 300 metres from the Kaiserdom to Speyer and 2.3 km from the Stadthalle Speyer, the museum room offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a large communal kitchen. The house is located in the village "Harthausen" nearby the city of Speyer. Next to the house there is a walking/biking route, called "Vom Rhein zum Wein" (from the river Rhine to the wine), a perfect place to start your biking tour. The most of our guests uses the vacation apartement as starting point of their walking or biking tour to the german wine route or to the city of Speyer. About the people who are playing golf, our vacation apartement are closed by the golf courses "GSC Geinsheim" and "Kurpfalz Limburgerhof". For a barbecue you could use the barbecue place in the garden, or you could choose one of the restaurants or wine taverns in Speyer.

Unser kleines Dorf liegt sehr ruhig und doch verkehrsgünstig in der Vorderpfalz nahe bei Speyer, 5 km vom Rhein, zwischen Mannheim und Karlsruhe, direkt an der B 39. Anbindung an B9, A 61, A5, A6 in wenigen Minuten. Es handelt sich um eine 50 m2 Wohnung im Souterrain, bestehend aus grossem Wohn/Esszimer, mit  kleiner Terasse (mit Sonnenschirm) und  integrierter Küchenzeile, ein sep.  Bad mit Dusche / WC / Bidet und einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett  2 Mtr. x 1,80 Mtr.,  Die Lage wird von vielen Gästen als besonders angenehm empfunden, wegen der Ruhe und Kühle im Sommer, wenn die Aussentemperaturen, wie nicht selten im Sommer in der Vorderpfalz, über 30 ° erreichen. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich eine grosse Schlafcouch, Flachbild-TV (Kabel mit 40 Kanälen), Stereo Anlage mit USB + i-pod Anschluss, Esstisch mit 3 Stühlen Eine  gute WLAN Anbindung ist natürlich kostenlos vorhanden.
